In 1995, he founded theMcCravy LawFirmwhich is now called theMcCravy, Newlon & Sturkie Law Firm. His education includes a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Political Science from Clemson University. Rep. McCravy received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been an adjunct professor at Lander University since 2016 where he has taught higher education courses in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Business Law and Commercial Law. In 2016, Rep. McCravy was elected to represent House District 13 in the South Carolina State House and was re-elected in 2018. Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and a member of Injured Worker’s Advocates. Rep. McCravy is also board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. This certification requires numerous trial experiences and a rigorous examination. As of 2017, only 36 South Carolina attorneys held this certification. Representative McCravy is a former board member of the Supreme Court S.C. Board of Commissioners and Grievances and is a current board member of Greater Greenwood United Ministry.
