Jeanne Heatlie Court One About Jeanne Heatlie Jeanne Heatlie is a litigation specialist. She considers herself a problem solver. She is passionate about helping people and making a difference. Jeanne draws on her multi-faceted skills and experience to do just that. Jeanne graduated with a BA LLB in 1994 and commenced her articles specialising in property and general litigation. She was admitted as an attorney (solicitor) of the Cape Town High Court in 1996. While completing her articles Jeanne was headhunted by a top tier law firm with an initial stint in family law and then in insolvency. She advanced to associate in 2000 and to partner in 2002. Jeanne was seconded onto the IINSOL International Technical Committee in 2005/2006. In early 2007, Jeanne immigrated to New Zealand, and began working as a legal assistant in a boutique litigation practice in Auckland. She was admitted as barrister and solicitor to High Court of New Zealand in 2012. Jeanne was invited to join the partnership in 2015. At the start of 2021, Jeanne started her own litigation practice under the Court One brand. Jeanne runs a highly skilled and successful team [with Jonathan Wood (senior associate) and Briana Crow (legal assistant].
