Webb William (“Bill”) Webb founded the Webb Legal Group in San Francisco in 2008 in order to provide high-quality commercial litigation and trial services to businesses and individuals alike. Bill attended the University of Notre Dame, where he rowed bow seat on the rowing team, as well as its Law School. For over three decades, Mr. Webb has represented plaintiffs and defendants in trials and arbitrations involving commercial, construction, environmental, securities, professional malpractice, insurance coverage, insurance defense, products liability, probate litigation, labor and employment, uninsured motorist coverage and personal injury. He has represented clients involved in disputes concerning real estate, labor relations and other commercial disputes that were resolved short of trial. He has also represented clients in both state and federal courts of appeal, in cases involving consumer financial services, lender liability, intellectual property, municipal liability and construction issues, to name a few. Interestingly, Mr. Webb is now representing parties in the area of cryprocurrency. Bill has taught trial advocacy to law students and practicing attorneys both in California and nationally through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and at the Notre Dame Law School and Golden Gate University Law School, among other places. He does so in order to keep his trial skills sharp. “Since fewer cases are going to trial, it’s becoming a lost art. Teaching through these programs helps me prepare the next generation of trial attorneys,” he notes. Bill has also lectured on the Uniform Commercial Code at the San Francisco Law School. Bill is past Chair of the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California. He has also served as both a member and as an advisor to the state bar’s Business Law Section Executive Committee, and currently serves as an advisor to the Business Law Section’s Business Litigation Committee. Mr. Webb is an editor and contributing author of Litigating and Judging California Business Entity Governance Disputes (Matthew Bender). He has been recognized as a business litigation Super Lawyer from 2019 to the present.
