Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards 2022 Which of your many career achievements do you consider to be your greatest to date? To narrow it down to a single highlight from my career is extremely difficult. I have been privileged to travel (and litigate) all over the world. I successfully acted as advocate before the General Court of the European Union, got to act as second chair in the High Court of Ghana and won in the Supreme Court in Paris and then had to negotiate a settlement on damages in French! Whilst all of these are significant contenders, it would be wrong not to acknowledge the 15+ years I spent working hand-in-hand with an international media company. During this period, I was dealing with some of the most interesting intellectual property litigation and strategic matters, which greatly contributed to my UK and international reputation. What does this award mean to you? The UK has several major players in the trade mark sector and I feel truly honoured and privileged to be recognised as one of them.
