Schellenberg is also frequently engaged in high-profile legal disputes, often representing ministries, such as in the cases involving the COVID-Luca app and the payment card on behalf of the German federal states, the Federal Ministry of Defense, and the Federal Ministry of the Interior. His expertise is particularly sought after in matters concerning critical infrastructure, IT networks, radio systems, and emergency services.
A couple of years ago, the team recognized the need to create more efficient structures for the future and has since completely restructured itself. Today, the department operates according to self-developed agile organizational structures. Initially, "Agile" training courses, originally intended for the IT industry, were completed. Additionally, experiences from the IT sector were evaluated to realign their own processes.
Today, they have completely abandoned secretariats. Instead, they practice an integral collaboration between lawyers and project managers with in a shared workspace environment. To this end, AI and IT collaboration systems, as well as an in-house knowledge management system, are systematically utilized.
The department, now expanded to ten members, has established a strong presence in the market. This visibility extends to junior lawyers Fabian Budde and Marc Greitens, who are on the path to becoming partners.
