Profile

Nicolás Salas obtained his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. He has a Master’s Degree and a Specialization in Criminal Law, both awarded by the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. He has taken doctoral courses at the Universities of Buenos Aires and at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar.

Nicolás was a prosecutor of the Unit of Jurisdictional Cases of the National Court of the State Attorney General’s Office. He held the position of Prosecutor of Pichincha of the Unit for Crimes against Public Faith.

He is a professor of Criminal Law subjects at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador since 2013.

He is a designated professor hired at the Univeridad Andina Simón Bolívar since 2010 and has taught classes since 2009 at the following universities: Universidad Central del Ecuador, Universidad Internacional SEK, Universidad Metropolitana e Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales.
