My name is Fabien Bénédicte Suant, and I am one of the co-founders of CHAPLIN, BÉNÉDICTE & Co, a niche boutique firm dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs who are expanding internationally. Our motto "Entrepreneurs who know what they want choose advisers who know what they do" summarises very well my own approach to serving clients. It's a challenging world out there and we should limit ourselves in engaging in what we really master and execute it to the best of our abilities, while at the same time ensuring our clients know exactly why they hired us and what they expect from us.
While tax concerns are often top-of-mind for entrepreneurs looking to expand abroad, we have found that there are many other factors that can be equally challenging. These can include regulatory barriers, cultural differences and legal and contractual complexities that vary widely from country to country.
As a partner at our firm, my role is to manage and coordinate our team of experts from our various locations on a day-to-day basis, as well as to personally assist clients with their specific needs. This often involves working closely with them to understand their business at a deep level, taking part in developing effective strategies for achieving their goals.
Over the years, we have worked with a wide range of entrepreneurs, from start-ups and emerging businesses to established corporations. Clients we would consider onboarding must be referred and we're not suited for large corporations ensuring we focus on the specific needs of small to medium businesses.
Our philosophy has always been to act as trusted providers to our clients, helping them to navigate the complex and often challenging world of international business, and quite frankly we love what we do.
