Projects were financed by the largest investment bank in Latin America, and were executed under a super fast-track approach that secured their completion under an unprecedented record time for the industry. EPC projects totalling 150 MW in installed power capacity were completed in the record time of just above seven months, counted from the signature of the contract through plant acceptance, allowing to commence plant operations in advance to the corresponding Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) deadline as set with the electricity sector Regulator in Brazil (ANEEL). Adopting sustainable technology designed to facilitate renewable energy penetration in the market, power grid balancing plants were installed, commissioned, and tested in just above three months.
